Commission Rates

• Premium Courses: Instructors receive 75% of net revenue
• Promotional Sales: Revenue share applies to discounted price

Platform Fees

• Payment processing fees: 5% transaction
• Platform maintenance fee: 10% of gross revenue
• Marketing and promotion fee: 10% of gross revenue

Payment Dates

• You can set a withdraw Interval like Weekly or Monthly Payment requests
• Minimum payout threshold: UGX 50,000 USD
• Payments delayed for 7days or 30days from purchase date (refund protection)

Payment Methods

• Bank transfer (Bank Account Required)
• Mobile Money (MTN or Airtel)

Tax Responsibilities

• Instructors responsible for all applicable taxes
• Withholding taxes may apply based on jurisdiction

Content Requirements

• Minimum 30 minutes of video content for paid courses
• HD video quality (1080p minimum)
• Clear audio without background noise
• Course completion certificate eligibility
• Regular content updates as technology evolves

Prohibited Content

• Copyrighted material without proper licensing
• Adult or inappropriate content
• Misleading or false information
• Promotional content for external services
• Low-quality or duplicate content

Content Ownership

Instructors retain full ownership of their course content. By uploading content to CourseBang, instructors grant us a non-exclusive license to:

• Host and distribute content on our platform
• Create promotional materials featuring course content
• Optimize content for better user experience
• Create course previews and samples

Platform Rights

• Right to remove content violating community guidelines
• Right to feature courses in marketing campaigns
• Right to translate course titles and descriptions

Promotional Activities

• CourseBang may feature courses in email campaigns
• Social media promotion across all platforms
• Inclusion in category-specific promotions
• Partner channel distribution opportunities

Pricing Control

• Instructors set base course pricing
• CourseBang may offer limited-time discounts
• Bulk licensing pricing determined by CourseBang
• Free course promotions require instructor consent

Quality Metrics

• Minimum 4.0/5.0 average rating to maintain premium status
• Response to student questions within 48 hours
• Course completion rate above 30%
• Regular engagement with student community

Instructor Responsibilities

• Respond to student questions and comments promptly
• Provide additional resources when requested
• Maintain professional communication standards
• Offer constructive feedback on student projects

• 24/7 technical support for instructors

Refund Conditions

• Refunds deducted from instructor earnings
